“Kleine Vermögen werden ausgelöscht”

I think most people are going to get wiped out with the inflation tax. All of this government is not free. This incredible increase in the size of government is going to cost somebody. Somebody has to pay the bills for all the bailouts and all the stimulus. And if we’re not raising taxes, then how are we doing it? We’re financing it through inflation. And that doesn’t mean we get it for free. Der Trick der Notenbanken wird nicht mehr funktionieren

Peter Schiff has been saying that the Federal Reserve is going to take interest rates back to zero and launch another round of quantitative easing in order to reinflate the bubble economy after the next crash. The central bank successfully pulled this off after the 2008 crisis. Wir verschulden uns in den Bankrott

“If your debt is growing faster than your economy, then you’re not getting richer. You’re getting poorer. You would have been better off without the debt and without the growth …  We’re borrowing ourselves into poverty. We’re not borrowing ourselves rich. We’re borrowing ourselves broke.” (Der US-Ökonom und Investor Peter Schiff über den Boom in Amerika, hier)
